Frequently asked questions
- Do I need Nafath verification just to browse auctions?
No. Browsing and viewing automated appraisals are available with a mobile account. Verification is required only before your first bid or wallet top-up.
- What happens to my deposit if I do not win?
It is released automatically after the auction closes. You can withdraw it to your bank account within 1–3 business days or keep it for a future auction.
- Can I cancel a bid after placing it?
No. Every bid is recorded with a tamper-proof timestamp — a core integrity rule for electronic auctions.
- How does automatic extension work?
If a bid arrives in the last two minutes, two minutes are added so everyone gets a fair chance. This repeats until bidding stops.
- How accurate is the automated appraisal?
It is calculated from comparable sales within 3 km over the last 12 months, adjusted for area and frontage. It is indicative, not a financing-grade valuation.
- Who can list a property?
Companies and real-estate agents licensed by the Real Estate General Authority. Individuals list through an approved agent on the platform.
